Pusselsheim St. Burkhard 2018

The organ in the parish church of St. Burkhard in Pusselsheim was built in 1861 by organ builder Josef Wiedemann from Bamberg.

The organ in Pusselsheim was in a very poor condition before its restoration. The woodworm did a great job. Therefore, over the years, some totally eaten away wooden pipes were replaced. We reconstructed the scales of the missing wooden pipes and made new pipes in the historical design. Several bungs and bung handles also had to be rebuilt because they crumbled at the slightest touch. All shafts, shaft holders and shaft arms in the action were also checked and rebuilt if necessary. The wind chests were also thoroughly restored. Technically, the organ functions perfectly again and after a thorough and costly re-intonation, the organ sounds fresh again and fills the entire church hall.
