Wiesentheid 2017

In 2017 we had the pleasure of making a new organ in the newly renovated parish church of St. Mauritius in Wiesentheid near Würzburg.

The valuable church was built in the years 1727 - 1732 according to the plans of the famous master builder Balthasar Neumann. The historic organ case with its baroque profiles and carved decorations is a highlight in this special sacred space. A new organ movement with 34 stops was installed in the restored organ case by our company. The action was mechanically operated. Because of the limited space available, we designed the stop action with electromagnets. In addition, the organ was equipped with an electronic setting system. This allows the instrument to be used for organ concerts, which are regularly offered by the parish. To date, this instrument is our "Opus Maximus".
